The Start of Development Prototype
EcoPetway has previously been prototype tested in cattery's, kennels and homes. Now is the time to develop EcoPetway towards manufacture. These prototypes are made in wood but...due to needs for sanitising for hygiene purposes, other materials are being prototyped. The picture shows a well trialled petway for a period of one year plus, used by 5 cats living together

EcoPetway will NEVER blow open or rattle, and is kind to your pet.

Petway Flexibility
Points that are considered:

• To prevent draughts
  
• To prevent the need for strong hinges to stop flapping in the wind
  
• To be free from multiple parts and components causing problems and breakage
  
• To prevent your pet from having to butt a strong flap
• To prevent the flap from banging shut
• To prevent sharp edges causing injury to your pet
• To prevent restriction in size or materials
• To prevent restriction to only a horizontal mounting.
• To prevent your pet from becoming trapped in the event of extenuating circumstances

To make sure your pet is as proud of you as you are of your pet.


The Resulting Basic Design Prototype Features:

• Draughtproof
• Provides easy passage for your pet
• It abolishes all magnets or catches to keep it free from rattle
• It eliminates multiple parts
• it opens in the conventional manner and allows your pet to have control over its closure
• It lessens chances of injury to your pet
• It will provide pleasing aesthetic appearance
• It has flexiblity regarding size
• It can be considered as a bonus in door furniture, in keeping with the look of your door.
• Can be installed into brickwork to the side of the door or otherwise. If installed this way can be used for parcel delivery the size of a large cat!
• Can be mounted in any required position e.g. the floor or even the ceiling! This will not jeopardise the working of EcoPetway

Development will continue regarding... which cat enters? and which cat does not?!

After the continuing success of Ecoflap - the internal draught cutting letter plate - clients have asked "When are you going to produce a Cat Flap with similar properties?!"

The design is well underway and Ecopetway can be made in UK. The market however is being tested at the moment.
